Howdy y’all! I’m Alisha Light (she/her).

I’m a diehard feminist and believe women should play by their own rules. I’m into breaking traditions that don’t serve you, and showing up authentically you. I noticed there was a lack of diversity in maternity and boudoir photos. I noticed that maternity photos for a lot of people meant holding your belly in a dress in nature, and noticed that their isn’t a ton of body diversity in boudoir. I had to ask myself, what would these photos look like if they were empowering and focused on each persons journey and personality? What if maternity photos weren’t just an ode to the life thats being brought into the world, but the holder and creator of that life? What if both maternity and boudoir photos celebrated what our body has been through and continues to do for us?

Everyone’s belly grows differently, and I’ve found its best to wait til the 7 month mark. Many people do not start showing until the end of their pregnancy.
Session time can be added starting at $495 an hour. Additional photos can be purchased at $30 a photo, or a gallery buy out option will be provided to you at a discounted rate.
